The world of BYTE is populated by victims of a corrupting force that transforms reality into a nightmarish abstraction of itself. Horribly disfigured shadows of humanity haunt the landscape and towering abominations relentlessly hunt the few remaining survivors. The only hope for those who have not yet succumb to the corruption is to reboot their broken reality.
